We’d like to share with you our achievements and continue to spread the message that all of our daily business activities have an increasing impact on the environment.
Unfortunately, less positive ... This can be changed only if we change ourselves.
8th May, 2012 the city of Vilnius hosted the National Responsible Business Awards, tutored by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania. 12 Lithuanian and foreign companies that are contributing to the welfare and reduction of negative environmental impact were awarded.
National Responsible Business Awards honor those companies that contribute the most to build and strengthen the welfare and to environmental impact reduction in Lithuania. Their own business activities demonstrate leadership and sincere commitment to act transparently and fairly with employees, society and the state, assess the business impact on environment and reduce the negative consequences of such impact.
Held the fifth time this year awards attracted a special attention to business - as much as 91 applications received from 51 companies. 25 applications were submitted to the ‘Environmental Company of the Year’ nomination.
Eugesta UAB won the "Environmental Company 2011" nomination in the category of large Lithuania companies and was awarded for “the progress and enthusiasm for engaging employees, partners and consumers to the environmental protection”.
We are happy for this achievement! We encourage do not remain indifferent, to join good initiatives and create them as well.
